Front Desk Officer (Full-time)
Location :Lagos(Primary)
Expected Duties
Assist callers, take messages,giving of information, making referral,calling staff members directly and receiving of incoming calls.
Often updating and maintaining of staff information on a phone extension spreadsheet.
Receiving and distributing daily/weekly Newspapers and Magazines while ensuring payments for all the items mentioned above.
Preparation of weekly attendance lists for efficiency in the log-out and log-in process.
Coordinating the usage of conference rooms to ensure the upkeep of the rooms and reporting their repairs and fixture changes where necessary.
Give access to the building by rightful implementation of visitors policy.
Regularly checking the work of the Receptionists/security and coordinating or providing assistance where required and make sure there is compliance with access procedure.
Maintains safe and decent environment while using good judgment in contacting appropriate personnel to make sure everywhere is neat.
Ability to do all and any other activities assigned by the Head of Department
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
A first Degree / HND in Art, Humanities or any other relevant discipline.
IT Skills:
Working knowledge of Windows XP, Microsoft Word Excel, MS Outlook, Typing skills and general office clerical skills.
Communication:
Good command of English language (spoken and written).
Ability to speak and write in a second language will be an advantage but not mandatory.
People Skills:
High degree of patience, tolerance, assertiveness and understanding.

Industry Specific Experience:
One year post qualification experience.
