MTN Nigeria Vacancy : Team Lead, ERP

MTN Nigeria is recruiting for the position of a Team Lead, ERP. The Team lead ERP will Track and monitor application development policies and processes in respect of ERP applications, ensuring compliance with set standards.

Review User business needs for application systems and identify requirements and integration needs of suitable applications, identifying trade-offs between competing systems.

Co-ordinate the execution of technical test during application upgrades and new deployments.

Develop and maintain proper documentation and blueprint of all IS applications.

Oversee the maintenance of applications, working in conjunction with vendors and in accordance with OLAs and SLAs.

Carry out routine system controls, audits and security checks to ensure optimal system performance and identify and resolve application issues.

Ensure seamless integration of applications in order to minimize interface issues.

Supervise, organize and co-ordinate the activities of the application team and ensure proper issue problem investigation, analysis, escalation and resolution of application issues and problems.

Monitor and maintain the performance of ERP applications within the business and document improvement opportunities, as well as any technical constraints and process challenges.

Liaise with application vendors and ensure SLAs are met through extensive review negotiation of SLA agreements.

Reporting To: ERP Applications Manager
Required Skills:
B.Sc Computer Science or related discipline from a reputable institution
4 years experience in application administration and development within the Telecommunications sector of which includes
Practical experience as an application’s team lead
In-depth Knowledge of:
IS support processes
Systems integration
Project management
Application construction
Information technology and application architecture
Typical Mobile Telecommunications applications know-how with specialist expertise in more than one of the following functional areas:
Billing systems Corporate & Retail Billing, Interconnect Billing
ERP systems Distribution, Retail, Finance, Payroll, HR, Asset Management
GSM network interfacing applications Provisioning, Pre-Paid management systems
Fraud Management Applications
Human resource management
