AVAILABLE POSITION/REQUIREMENT:
As part of our business expansion strategy, we seek to recruit competent and result - oriented individual to fill the position of a Cost and Management Accountant.

Job Title: Cost and Management Accountant
Location: Ibadan
Key responsibilities will include:

Accounting

• Preparation of Capital expenditure (CAPEX) applications.
• Preparation of monthly management reports.
• Assist in preparation of annual budget.
• Participation in internal and external audit process.
• Maintain and control the asset register and do physical asset verifications.
• Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

Stock

• Ensure that financial controls are in place across the factory.
• Oversee and validate stock counts.
• Investigate stock count variances and resolve issues.

Cost accounting

• Supervision of day to day activities of the factory cost accounting function.
• Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies and reporting on work order variances.
• Work closely with planning to ensure that the costing systems are comparable.
• Ensure that all relevant transactions took place before the closure of work orders.
• Maintain bill of materials for existing and new products.

Accounting System

• Maintaining the accounting system master data. The ideal candidate must:
• Must be a Chartered Accountant.
• Have advanced Excel skills.
• Be able to work independently and under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Have good interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Have a high level of accuracy and pay great attention to detail.
• B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Business Administration or any related disciplines
• Have a minimum of 5 years costing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Have experience in using ERP system, preferable Accpac or Syspro.
