We
are a global procurement service provider with offices in the UK,
Africa and North America. We act as a single source of supply for any
engineering spare parts and equipment which are used to maintain and
repair large scale manufacturing plant and machinery. In addition we
source a wide range of supplementary goods used for facilities
management. We manage complex supply chains for some of the world’s
largest manufacturers in over 70 different countries; specializing in
difficult to reach markets globally. As part of our continued growth and
investment in the West Africa Region we are looking for enthusiastic,
highly motivated, self-driven Key Account Managers to support our
operations in Nigeria
Job Summary:
The
successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing
our already excellent working relationship across multifunctional
departments including Engineering, Stores, Procurement, Logistics and
Finance. They will take full responsibility for the development of the
sales and profit margin, in their designated client, in line with
company budgetary targets
Responsibilities:
- Acting as a first point of contact for all technical and administrative matters
- Strategic management of customer and supplier relationships
- Providing Technical support and advice to the Engineering Teams
- Identifying and initiating cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Problem solving - offering innovative solutions
- Resolution of technical Queries and issues arising
- Cross Referencing of OEM parts
- Initiate and drive Inventory optimizations project
- Involvement and Support on Projects as required
- Developing the range and scope of products sold
- Maintaining and improving levels of service to site in line with company SLA
- Meeting and exceeding contractual obligations
- Achieving agreed targets and KPIs - both internal and external
- Service review meetings at agreed intervals
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering Background preferably with formal Engineering qualifications.
- Good level of IT skills, including Outlook, Microsoft word and Excel
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills capable of operating at many levels up to Director
- Good communicator well presented, and” business like” with a proactive approach.
- Procurement/Purchasing department work experience is an added advantage
- Should reside in Ikorodu, Lagos state.
